I am Sam

Sam is an archaeologist with over a decade of research experience. When she hangs up the proverbial fedora at the end of the day, it is only to put on an apron! In this way, Yesterbread is the (bread)fruit of two passions!


Sam grew up with a close family association with the wine and food industry, and has been in the kitchen since she was big enough to climb up on a chair to reach the counter. What she does in the kitchen is heavily influenced both by decades of food experience ‘travelling by the palate’ (as she calls it) as well as extensive physical travels in Europe and elsewhere.


She lives north of Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband and son, where her family goes through three and a half loaves of homemade sourdough a week.
